Decide TB Internal SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP – Bordeaux, June 16–20, 2025

The Decide TB research consortium hold an internal scientific workshop in Bordeaux on June, 2025, split into two focused parts:
. June 16–17: Scientific meetings
. June 18–20: Scientific writing retreat

Scientific meetings were aimed at:
• Aligning on key project outputs and finalize our publication plan
• Preparing the upcoming World Health Organization general guidelines report
• Discussing and reviewing analysis plans across all project components

Sessions were dedicated to presentations and strategic discussions on:
• Main analyses and dissemination of results
• Key secondary publications
• PhD and country-specific papers

The scientific retreat was designed to:
• Accelerate the development of primary and secondary manuscripts
• Equip junior investigators and PhD students with practical writing skills
• Finalize baseline/year 1 manuscripts for PhD students

The Decide TB team was fully engaged in structured writing sessions to advance key manuscripts:
• Structuring outlines and dummy tables
• Drafting introductions, methods, and results sections
• Receiving feedback and guidance from senior researchers
