Decide TB at the Union World Conference on Lung Health 2026

Decide TB will present its first findings at the Union World Conference on Lung Health, taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 17 to 20 November 2026.

As the project moves from field implementation to results analysis and dissemination, three oral presentations and five e-posters have been selected for the official scientific programme. These contributions will highlight findings on the effectiveness, diagnostic performance, acceptability, feasibility and cost-effectiveness of Treatment Decision Algorithms (TDAs) for childhood TB.

In addition, Decide TB will host a one-hour satellite symposium on Friday 20 November (08:00–09:00), entitled “Treatment Decision Algorithms (TDAs) – a comprehensive approach for childhood TB management.” Chaired by Sabine Verkuijl and Olivier Marcy, the session will bring together perspectives on the use of TDAs, from clinical practice and diagnostic accuracy to implementation, policy and digital tools.
